The kingfish itself was well seasoned later that evening by Victoria House chefs, much to the delight of her family.

With the start of the new year, Victoria House has received major travel industry swards from Condé Nast Johansens,  Travel + Leisure Magazine and Trip Advisor.

Condé Nast Johansens, a luxury travel guide, announced their annual 2012 Awards for Excellence and Victoria House was awarded the Most Excellent Romantic Hideway- Mexico and Central America.  

Travel+ Leisure Magazine redcently annouced their annual T+L Top 500 for 2012 and Victoria House was the only hotel in Belize named on the list.  

Victoria House was listed as one of the Top 25 Luxury Hotels in Central America on the annual Traveler’s Choice Poll on Trip Advisor.

The Staff and Management are excited about the recognition and are committed to maintaining the level of service that Victoria House has become known for.

 

Victoria House Welcomes New Chef- December 21, 2011

Management and staff of the Victoria House have warmly welcomed Chef Christopher Hall who will be the featured guest chef at the Palmilla Restaurant for the next two months. 

Chef Hall is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and the New England Culinary Institute and has worked under several James Beard Award winning Chefs such as Aqua in San Francisco and the Little Nell in Aspen, Colorado.

Since 2009 Chef Hall has been the Executive Chef at the highly acclaimed Elevation Restaurant in Aspen and is scheduled to become the Executive Chef at the Las Pergolas Restaurant at Pristine Bay on Roatan Island in March of 2012. 

There will be a great deal of culinary excitement added to Ambergris Caye and the Victoria House by Chef Hall over the next several months.
