We want your trip to be the best so here are a few Belize Resort travel tips to make your vacation an incredible experience.
Once you have received your travel documents and vouchers, your trip begins. Please make sure the documents are in order and read any information that is sent from the Reservation Office. This is also a good time to check that your passport is up-to-date and purchase travel insurance.
Packing lightly will help your get through Belize Customs much faster. Try to bring light colored, lightweight-cotton clothing to help you stay cool in Belize. Remember to bring the basics like sunscreen, a wide brimmed hat, sandals, mosquito repellent and your swimsuit. It is not necessary to bring scuba and snorkeling gear as these items can be easily rented at Fantasea Dive Shop on the Victoria House pier.
A small backpack would be a good item to have if you plan to take any inland tours. You might also consider a water bottle, binoculars, sturdy walking shoes or lightweight hiking boots and a pair of long pants.
Travelers who have special medical needs are encouraged to provide our Reservation Office with any necessary information prior to travel so that the resort can make your stay as comfortable as possible. Remember to bring your medication and try to have your prescriptions filled at home for it might be difficult to do so in Belize.
Last but not least, bring along your camera and lots of film or large capacity memory cards for your digital camera. Take only photos and leave only footprints!
All of us at Victoria House are looking forward to your visit.
