Tour Cancellation Policy

All confirmed tours will be subject to a 20% cancellation fee 48-hours prior to the scheduled tour departure. Any alterations and/or cancellations before this time will incur no fee charge. The fee will be added to your final room bill to be paid upon checkout and will not need to be paid upon booking unless otherwise so desired by the guest.

Exemptions:

1. Dangerous Weather: No fee charge will be incurred if the confirmed tour is cancelled due to thunder/lightning storms, any approaching tropical systems (tropical depression, tropical storm, hurricane) and/or if the Belize Meteorological Service issues a “Small Craft Advisory” due to excessive wind speeds.
2. Operator Error: No fee charge will be incurred in the event a confirmed tour is cancelled due to Victoria House personnel and/or contracted tour operator error.
3. Mechanical Failure/Malfunctions: No fee charge will be incurred in the event a confirmed tour is cancelled due to Victoria House and/or contracted tour operator equipment failure/malfunction.
4. Rebooking: If a guest wishes to rebook their confirmed trip for another day/time during their current stay at Victoria House Resort & Spa the original 20% fee charge will be applied to the new tour date/time, however, it will remain non-refundable unless the new tour is cancelled due to an above listed reason. Any rebooking of a confirmed trip for a future stay at Victoria House Resort & Spa will be subject to the 20% fee charge.
5. Outside Tour Operators: In the event a tour must be booked with an outside tour operator then that tour will be subject to their cancellation policies which may differ from our own. This information will be provided to you prior to tour confirmation. If you are unsure about which cancellation policy your tour falls under, please check with your tour booking agent who will provide with the requisite information.

Reservations for tours and activities will only be finalized once guests have acknowledged and accepted the above conditions either by email, WhatsApp, phone call or verbally to the booking agent.

***Guests are strongly recommended to purchase Travel Insurance that covers tours and activities as part of the insurance policy to avoid out of pocket fees and to protect their vacation investment.***
