Restaurant Server

Duties and Responsibilities:      

• Know your menu and answer all questions about menu items, food sensitivities and food substitutions
• Assist guests with suggestions for food and drinks and recommend special items available
• Serving food and drinks with proper steps of service
• Communicating with guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve any complaints

Requirements:

• Previous experience in upscale restaurant preferred
• Working knowledge of food spirits, wine and beer preferred
• Knowledge and education of restaurant etiquette preferred
• Able to work flexible hours
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Valid food handlers permit
• Recent police record
• Good written and oral communication skills, outgoing
• Great interpersonal skills and team player
• Capable of handling a fast-paced environment

Bartender/Server

 Duties and Responsibilities:      

• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for bar and dining room guests
• Interact with guests, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks
• Assess guests needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Prepare and mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

Requirements:

• Resume and proven working experience as a Bartender. 2 years minimum.
• Computer/POS Literacy
• Ability to work under pressure and team player
• Written and spoken English (Spanish is bonus)
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Relevant training certifications encouraged

Senior Accountant

Summary of Position:

Under the direction of Managing Director, as Senior Accountant you will provide, the management team with accurate, timely, and relevant financial data. You will be responsible for day to day operations of the accounts department, preparation and management of the hotels financial budgets, implementing and overseeing all activities relating to the financial aspects of the resort in compliance with the local tax laws and the resort’s standard operating procedures. Additionally responsible for the financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, audit and control, asset and liability reconciliation, working capital and cash control. Ensuring the safekeeping and updating of all legal documentation related to the financial status of Victoria House Resort and Spa.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• 5 years’ experience in similar accounting position
• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills
• Experience in Excel, QuickBooks, and Peachtree
• Team Player
• Written and spoken English (Spanish is bonus)
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
