Celebrate San Pedro’s Patron Saint This Weekend

Dia de San Pedro is coming up on the 29th with our town of San Pedro ramping up for the 3-day celebration.

Dia de San Pedro is dedicated to honoring San Pedro’s namesake and patron saint, Saint Peter. Since San Pedro town began as a small fishing village, Saint Peter is believed to protect the fishermen and boats at sea.

The celebrations are both religious and festive. The statue of Saint Peter is brought out from the church and taken through a religious ceremony. Traditional dances are performed, and early morning masses are held. However, the town also throws a celebration including live music and carnival rides, making it fun for both locals and visitors alike.

We invite you to join in on the festivities and experience authentic San Pedro!
