Lobster season in Belize spans from July 1st to February 28th, and for almost two decades, the San Pedro Lobster Festival has kicked it off with their highly anticipated Lobster Crawl!
From July 1st until July 13th, San Pedro transforms into a lobster lover’s paradise. Picture lively streets lined with restaurants and vendors, offering locals and tourists a taste of their unique twist on lobster-themed dishes. The celebrated Caribbean spiny lobster, known for its tender, flavourful meat, make them a popular choice for culinary dishes from classic grilled lobster to refreshing lobster ceviche and delicious lobster desserts.
We highly recommend participating in the Lobster Crawl, as it’s a great way to immerse yourself in Belizean culture and community. Plus, on July 13th the festival culminates with the grand Block Party where dancing, live music, and more lobster is enjoyed.
