Victoria House was designed for dream destination weddings… Here it from our newlyweds, Matthew and Casey, who celebrated their wedding in perfect Belizean style:
“Our wedding weekend was nothing short of a dream come true! Working with Abi and her entire team at Victoria House could not have been more of a pleasure. Since I was little I had always dreamed of having a destination wedding. Right after we got engaged, Matthew and I had a pre-planned trip to Belize so we decided to see if it was somewhere we would want to get married. A good family friend had recommended we check out the VH. From the moment we stepped on the property, we knew instantly it was where we wanted to get married. Abi and all of the VH staff were extremely professional and informative from the outset. With it being a destination wedding and having to rely solely on communication via email and WhatsApp, we were not sure what to expect. We were never left with one minute of uncertainty while working with Abi. Abi was always very well organized and we could not have asked for better communication from her. Our wedding was transformed from pictures being exchanged in our WhatsApp group to reality with all of our expectations being exceeded. Not only did the wedding day go off without a hitch, but our two other events (Welcome Party and Rehearsal Dinner) were equally as special and well executed. It was amazing to us how much hard work, effort and attention to detail was put into each event. Abi and her team worked all day for 3 days to give us our perfect wedding weekend. Matthew and I were able to truly relax and enjoy the time with our family and friends because we were so confident in Abi and the VH staff. We are so very thankful and appreciative for each and every one of them!
Abi, Greg and the entire staff went above and beyond for us and our group! We had several of our guests applaud the staff – their level of service and attention while always having a smile on their faces! Many of our friends and family commented on the beauty of the resort, the excellent food and so much more. We think it’s definitely safe to say that at least a few of them will be back in the not too distant future. Victoria House will always be a very special place to Matthew and I. We are already trying to plan a trip back!
The whole weekend was perfect and we could not have asked for anything more. I think for me, one of the highlights was walking up to our welcome party. Walking up and realizing that everyone was there for us and that our wedding weekend had finally arrived! I loved hearing the band playing, seeing the beautiful string lights and florals, the amazing food being passed around. It was the moment for me that my dreams had become a reality! I also loved the moment before my dad walked me down the aisle, looking out at the beach to see how perfect everything was. I could not believe it was actually my wedding! We were very fortunate to be able to do a buyout of the resort Thursday to Sunday. Just imagine having an entire resort for you and all of your friends and family. It was very cool being able to have that experience!! Abi and her team, plus all the vendors were nothing short of amazing. We would recommend to everyone wanting to have a destination wedding to check out the Victoria House. You will not regret it!”
