At Victoria House Resort & Spa, we are always looking for better ways to care for our beach and protect the natural beauty of Ambergris Caye. That’s why we recently invested in the Sargassum Slayer, an innovative machine designed to help remove sargassum buildup on our shores.
What made this investment even more meaningful for us is that the machine was designed and built by a local Belizean company, highlighting the value of homegrown innovation and solutions.
After seeing a live demonstration, we quickly recognized the impact the system could have, not only for our property, but for the wider community facing the ongoing challenges of sargassum. We’re excited to continue working together on additional solutions that could further improve sargassum management in Belize.
