My two daughters and I had this trip planned for almost a year– it was a big deal. After a lot of research I picked Victoria House, and had high hopes for an unforgettable, luxurious experience. Victoria House exceeded my expectations on every front: the grounds are gorgeous and the layout is beautiful– seems like a visual delight is around every corner. The rooms are lovely, the food is delicious, and most of all the staff is genuine, dedicated, and very competent. There's a feeling of true calm at Victoria House, yet it's clear that a lot of thoughtful, careful work goes into making this so. Everything is clean, fresh, updated, fixed and thought through. The dining options are great– there are basically two, with the same menus, but there are a variety of options on the menus, and if you use the all day bar menu you can have a simple, relatively inexpensive but delicious meal rather than the full dinner production– which is nice. The dive shop did an amazing– very organized– job of recommending and arranging our activities. Things went seamlessly and without stress. (Our favorite guide was Rene, with Serious Adventures– he is a wealth of information and a lovely person, and made a simple snorkeling trip really awesome.) I felt like I got so much value from VH across the board, it was absolutely worth the room rate

But more than anything, the seemingly sincere smiles and conversation we shared with the team at Victoria
House made us feel both welcome and cared for in a way that takes a great, much anticipated, vacation and
makes is exceptional. If we can get back to VH we absolutely will. In the meantime– go here!!
