We couldn't have imagined a more amazing honeymoon! We chose a private Casita with a beautiful view of the beach, ocean, and extremely well kept landscaping. The Casita was so clean and private and was
amazingly beautiful and unique with a hammock on the front porch for enjoying paradise and its cool evening breezes. We were there at the start of the rainy season (early June) but couldn't have asked for better weather. Most days were sunny and beautiful with storms that would blow in at night or for a few minutes late in the day, just enough time for an afternoon snooze in their amazingly comfortable beds or a drink or two at happy hour in the beachfront bar!

The staff couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating, and the room was cleaned every day. The
pools are amazing, the beach is beautiful, and the water is crystal clear – snorkeling is a MUST. Unbelievable coral and marine life (we saw TWO beautiful sea turtles), and we even swam with and held nurse sharks! The dive shop provides everything you need for your excursions and is so helpful. They planned everything for our day trip to the mainland for a hike through the Mayan Ruins as well, and it couldn't have been more incredible. A 30 minute jumper flight and an hour boat ride took us thousands of years back in time.

Ohhh, what else can I rave about?! So many unbelievable moments spent in Belize. Definitely rent a golf cart, drive into town, walk around the local shops, and eat at El Fogon. Try their Salbutes and mango margaritas – you won't regret it. Speaking of food… Victoria House has a professional chef on staff, and the food. is. spectacular. Make a reservation out on the deck for a romantic, moonlit dinner. Complimentary breakfast by the pool overlooking the water was a favorite as well – homemade jams and muffins, fresh fruit, strawberry and mango yogurt with granola, amazing coffee… mm I could go on and on.

I will end with this: we looked at many resorts on San Pedro, and I am confident we picked the best one. It is a beautiful, quaint resort with tons of amenities but without the crowds. At times we even felt like we had the beach all to ourselves! So quiet and peaceful. You will not regret a trip to Victoria House. It truly is paradise. And we can't WAIT to go back for an anniversary!!!
