The people that works at this resort are so amazing. I was putting together accommodations for a large group and they went above and beyond to assist and accommodate all of our requests on very short notice. The customer service is top notch.

Perfect piece of paradise 😀 - Everything was perfect. The staff were friendly and attentive. I can't think of anything I could improve upon. 😞 - There is a Sargasm problem along the coast which makes for bad smalls & dirty water so you would need to go to the west side of the island swimming

Paradise on an island! Friendly service, clean room, great food, and a beautiful view made our stay complete! We hated to leave! The staff was definitely 5 Star! Everyone was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay exceptional.

It is tucked off the mainstream of San Pedro, Belize, with its amazing quality of service from the entire staff where everybody speaks English better than some Americans. The majority of the staff is also fluent in Spanish and well trained in hospitality, professionalism and customer care. The front desk can arrange anything you want and if they can’t, they know somebody that can. Seldom resort to Resort stays, but for a 5 day/4 night stay in Belize the Victoria House was a comfortable, friendly, and welcoming place!
The facility and grounds are impeccable and located on the water. Our room was spacious, well-appointed and very tropically vibish, with excellent AC!
Facilities don’t matter much without an excellent staff and the VH folks were five-star! From the cheerful Continental breakfasts waiting for us at 4 a.m. before a day of fishing to the ice cold beers at the bar or pool on return to the white tablecloth meals, every employee was engaging, friendly, and pleasantly local. Special shout-out to Travis, Vanessa, and Duane who all were on the spot with every one of our whims, but still a pleasure to get to know…not just a smile in a uniform who memorized names, but friendly people you’d want to hang out with.
Food was top notch, flavorful, fresh, filling, and always served with a smile.
Anglers loved the water access, non-anglers loved the pool, vibe and spa.
Surprisingly affordable, English spoken everywhere, VH is enough to make you want to enjoy being pampered for a while!

Never disappoints! Beautiful views during the day and just as great at night. We had dinner and Travis our waiter made sure we were well cared for.

Treat yourself! My best friend and I had a girls trip for her milestone birthday. I was on the fence between Victoria House and another resort. I'm soooo glad I chose Victoria House! It was the perfect experience!! The staff was so incredibly friendly. Every meal we had was great. We did a spa day with massages and facials. I really just can't recommend a better choice. I've been to Belize a few times now. I've stayed in 3 different resorts, in 2 different gated communities, 4 different AirBnBs. Hands down this is the best choice. Also, I didn't mention to the staff prior to arriving that it was my best friend's birthday. It was just the two of us. We didn't have a whole party traveling with us, so I didn't really think it important to share. We arrived prior to check in and asked to store our luggage while we roamed the town. I shared that it was my best friend's birthday. When we checked into the room, they decorated it with a Happy Birthday Banner and balloons!! It was such a surprise and truly kind gesture!! This is truly a special place with special people.

I like the decor and the way the staff made you you feel like family. Would have liked to have had more options of activities such as water aerobics, yoga or games other than what was on the beach. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 5 days as a part of her birthday celebration and had an incredible time. I was able to work with Jeremiah to plan a surprise dinner by the water with a birthday cake, flowers, champagne, and decorations that she loved, and we were blown away by Victoria House and sad to be leaving today. Jeremiah, Ashley, Ruben and Travis were all exceptional members of the hotel’s staff and we loved talking to and learning about their lives each day. Before arriving we scheduled snorkeling with another company and had a lot of trouble figuring out transport - the hotel arranged a next morning trip that was cheaper and visited the same locations as the previous company, but dropped us off to and from the hotel which was a relief and so convenient. The pools and facilities here are incredible but the people really solidified this as 5 stars for me, highly highly recommend. | Liked: cleanliness, staff & service, amenities, property conditions & facilities, eco-friendliness
