We are breakfast here two mornings out of our stay (off property). First the backdrop of the grounds is spectacular, great for family moments and pictures. The food is also to die for. The staff were exceptionally friendly (over and above the already friendly island vibe). 10/10 would recommend.

The grounds are impeccable, the lighting and outdoor spaces thoughtfully designed, and the infinity pool overlooking the sea is quietly beautiful and grounding. What truly sets Victoria House apart is the staff’s intuitive care. Alexander offered a warm welcome on arrival and a heartfelt farewell at departure. Elsie at reception made me feel instantly at home, while Gladys ensured a seamless checkout and coordinated my air transfer with ease. Throughout my stay, Duane and Joel were consistently kind and approachable, and Ryan, Travis, Tony, Ashley, Edgar, and Gini added an easy warmth and attentiveness that never felt intrusive. The spa was a highlight—time with Ms. Roxanne was deeply healing, not just relaxing, and I’m grateful I scheduled multiple treatments with her. 😞 - Nothing significant. Travelers seeking a party-forward or high-energy resort experience may prefer to stay closer to central San Pedro, as Victoria House is intentionally serene and quiet.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 days and absolutely loved it. The resort itself is very quiet and serene. It's a personal preference of mine, but I loved that they didn't play loud music around the pool or during breakfast and it was just so peaceful and I feel like it encouraged the other guests to be quiet and respectful, leading to a more tranquil atmosphere. If I were to complain about anything at all, it would be that the full bed was quite small for the 2 of us. They offer a complimentary breakfast of fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee, and muffins each morning and it starts pretty early, which was really nice. They even scheduled our flights into the island and picked us up from the airport. We rented a golf cart for our stay and were grateful because the resort is about 10 minutes from town. There's a grocery store right across the street. Everyone we encountered during our stay was so friendly and helpful! After a different tour operator failed to pick us up, we were able to reserve a snorkeling excursion through the resort at the last minute for a more reasonable price than other companies were offering and they picked us up right on the dock out front. I would certainly come back and would recommend this beautiful property to anyone!

Recently back from third visit with Victoria House. First was 1986 when it was relatively new. Several new beautiful buildings but still small enough for the staff to learn your name, your favorite foods, your favorite table, your favorite beverage, your interests during your visit etc.! The chef is incredible with many amazing recipes. Be sure to try the Leche de Tigre ceviche! The entire staff was attentive, happy and friendly. the dining experience was great every time, made special by all. Too many to name but Gina, Duane, Teri and Mishel made our stay special!

Absolutely Perfect Stay: Relaxing, Indulgent, and Seamless Diving Experience! My husband and I visited Victoria House for a week this December and had the most relaxing, indulgent time! We paid for the four-day dive package, which included meals, and it was perfect for us. Victoria House sorted our daily dives with an operator on the island (TNT Pro Divers- awesome) and the experience was seamless. The food was out of this world, especially dessert! And last, but definitely not least, the service was impeccable. Everyone went above and beyond and made us feel totally comfortable and relaxed. Would 100% recommend to anyone visiting San Pedro / Ambergris Caye and looking for a relaxing and indulgent experience!
