For a Solo traveler, this hotel was perfect—safe, clean, and quiet. The staff were pleasant overall. There was one instance where I did not like a recommended drink but was still charged because “there was nothing wrong with it”-not very accommodating. Other than that, I didn’t have any issues. I rented a golf cart from across the street and it was free to park on the property. The pool and gym was perfect for me. It’s a nice place for couples and solo travelers. We stayed in one of their casitas. It was very cute clean and well maintained. Every staff member no matter if they were maintaining the grounds, serving food or cleaning your room were super friendly and helpful. The infinity pool was so relaxing. Food and drinks were good. A little pricey. The only thing I wish they had more of was nightly entertainment. Victoria House was perfect for our romantic getaway. The property is beautiful and the staff were wonderful. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing trip to San Pedro!

Victoria House is a lovely escape from everyday life. The staff and owners are committed to making each guest feel spec 😀 - Beautiful, well-maintained grounds. Ocean view lodging. 😞 - There was nothing not to like.

I’ve been to Belize five times in the last year, and one thing that’s become a non-negotiable part of every trip is breakfast at Victoria House.

While the resort itself is beautiful, it’s the breakfast that keeps bringing me back. In fact, it was one of my favourite meals from my entire time in Belize. Everything is consistently fresh, well prepared, and worth slowing down for.

And then there’s the bacon jam.

I don’t say this lightly: their homemade bacon jam is worth travelling across the world for. I’ve thought about it long after returning home, and it’s become one of those foods I look forward to every time I book a trip back to Belize.

Five visits later, it’s still one of my favourite breakfast spots on the island. If you’re anywhere near San Pedro, do yourself a favour and make the trip.

The property is beautiful and well maintained. The room was perfect and the air conditioner worked great!! The location of the property is convenient to town and the airport. The food was absolutely amazing!! We ate the continental breakfast daily, which was really good, but we also had several dinners there and everything that we had was exceptional.
