Those excited to experience festivals Belizean style should keep an eye out for Carnaval de San Pedro in February, the International Costa Maya Festival in August, and all the amazing Independence Day festivities that dominate the month of September. From paint fights and all night dancing to masquerades and fashion shows, San Pedro and Ambergris Caye come alive when we have a chance to celebrate.
And if you happen to be a fan of lobster – and let’s be honest, who isn’t – be sure to visit in June for our annual San Pedro Lobsterfest. It’s all the crustacean you can eat cooked every way you can imagine, and it is completely delicious.
