With the sea just outside our door and the barrier reef just off shore, it’s important to us here at Victoria House to take care of the environment.
Banning plastic straws has gained a lot of momentum recently as they endanger marine life and cause unnecessary pollution. We are pleased to say that we serve paper straws with our beverages as one of our eco initiatives. Straws aren’t the only biodegradable items we’ve invested in, though. The takeout containers given out at our restaurant are wax instead of plastic.
We know that even the smallest changes can make a big impact, and we are happy to be doing our part. We hope during your travels that you opt for environmentally friendly alternatives whenever possible!
